Everything you need to know about Grizzly Teams
How does pricing work?
Clubs pay $39/month for unlimited teams and players (or $9/month for a single team up to 25 players). Parents pay a $5 platform fee per registration, plus payment processing at checkout: card payments add 3.5% + $0.30 (calculated so your club still nets 100% of the fee you set), or 1% capped at $5 for bank transfers. Example: a $350 registration comes to $350 + $5 platform fee + $13.19 card processing = $368.19 at checkout, and your club receives the full $350—we never take a percentage of your dues.
How is Grizzly Teams different from TeamSnap or SportsEngine?
Four big differences: (1) We never take a percentage of your registration fees—clubs collect 100% of their dues. (2) Your account is portable—parents register once and their profile works across any Grizzly Teams club. (3) AAU membership verification is built in—instantly verify player and coach status. (4) Features like waitlist auto-promotion and coach verification badges are included, not add-ons.
How does AAU integration work?
Grizzly Teams connects directly to AAU to verify membership status for players and coaches in real-time. When someone registers, we automatically check their AAU membership and display their status. No more chasing down AAU cards or manually looking up numbers—verification happens seamlessly during registration.
Is my club's data secure?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never share it with third parties. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider—card details never touch our servers.
What does 'clubs collect 100% of their dues' mean?
When you set a $350 registration fee, you receive $350. Period. The parent pays your fee plus a $5 platform fee and card processing: $350 + $5 + $13.19 = $368.19 at checkout. You collect the full $350. Other platforms take 3-5% of your fee, meaning you'd only get $332-$340.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees. Your data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation, and you can export everything before then.
Can I import existing player data?
Yes! We offer free data migration from spreadsheets, TeamSnap, SportsEngine, and other platforms. Our team will help you get set up at no extra cost.
What sports does Grizzly Teams support?
